oxymoron

I don't understand the thought process of my company sometimes... Why would you block streaming content such as online radio and Pandora but allow Youtube and social networking websites??? Doesn't make any sense that I'm not allowed to stream radio and just listen to stuff while I work but I am able to go on Youtube and watch videos??? They tried to use excuses such as "online streaming services distract employees from working"... right... but videos won't? Also, don't say people use Youtube for work related tasks... I can bet 90% of people on that site goes there to watch random stuff for entertainment purposes. Yes, social networking websites can help with work but who are they kidding? No one uses Facebook or Twitter for work... They need to get rid of this stupid rule... I want to listen to ESPN radio while I do mundane tasks. Low employees morale won't increase productivity... this is common sense!
