I don't know about you but I am very particular about the places I eat at haha (please read my reviews at YELP if you want to know the details). The two things that I always judge at every restaurant are surprisingly not anything food related. I look at the service and the cleanliness of the restroom. If the place is bad at either one of these two things, then no matter how good the food is, I won't like the establishment. For service I always expect the waiter/waitress to be knowledgeable about the menu, friendly personality, attentive, and my biggest pet peeve of all... DON'T EVER LET MY WATER GLASS GO EMPTY! I should never have to ask for more water. As for the restroom... it had better be clean and not stink. If I see a restaurant's restroom is dirty, I automatically assume the kitchen is the same way... HAHAHA I know I am kinda picky and hard to please but hey, I think it's good that some people are this way... gotta keep those restaurants in check!
